I photograph weddings in a documentary way, with close attention to what is happening rather than what should be staged. I work quietly and without interruption, allowing the day to unfold while I focus on the moments, gestures, and exchanges that give it its character. What matters to me is making photographs that stay true to the experience of the day. I want the work to hold feeling, atmosphere, and a sense of presence while remaining honest to the people in front of the camera.
